Air coolers

Low-flow air coolers of AVM type are designed for condensation and cooling of vapor, gaseous and liquid mediums used in technological processes of oil-refining, petrochemical and allied chemical industries.

 

Depending on applied materials air coolers may be used at temperatures of medium no more than 300ºC and pressure up to 6,3 MPa (63kgf/cm²), including vacuum up to 655 Pa (5mm of vacuum column).

Air coolers sections are intended for cooling liquid with outlet viscosity up to 5x10-5 m²/s (50 cSt).

The air coolers are intended for operation in microclimatic regions with mean temperature of air during the closest five-day week not more than 40° С (version U) and with mean temperature of air during the coldest five-day week not more than 55° С (version C), with seismicity up to magnitude 7 баллов (SNiP П-7) and wind velocity head meeting the requirements of geographical region IV (SNiP 2.01.07).

The air coolers may be horizontal (H) and vertical (V).

On the Customer’s request the air coolers AVO may be equipped with:

• hand-operated louver;
• heated air inner recirculation system (louver, recirculation box, wind-proof skirt) – for horizontal vessels;
• air heater.
